By Train and Bus

Between Shinjuku and Kofu station
Train Time required: 83 min. is the quickest by taking the "Azusa" or "Kaiji" express train on the JR Chuo Line
Bus Time required: About 130 min. from Shinjuku west highway bus terminal
Between Nagoya and Kofu station
Train Time required: 181 min. is the quickest by changing from the "Shinano" express train to the "Azusa" express train at Shiojiri station on the JR Chuo Line (through Shiojiri)
Train Tokaido Shinkansen and JR Minobu Line (through Shizuoka station)/ Time required: 195 min. is the quickest by changing from the "Hikari" Shinkansen to the "Fujikawa" express train at Shizuoka station
Bus Time required: About 240 min. from the JR Nagoya station bus terminal

Between Kofu station and Kofu campus

Bus Take a bus for "Takeda-jinja Shrine or Sekisui-ji Temple" at the No. 3 bus station at Kofu station north exit and get off at "University of Yamanashi". Time required: About 5 min.
On foot Walk toward the north from the Kofu station north exit. Time required: About 15 min.

Between Kofu station and Medical　Campus

Bus Take a bus for "Yamanashi University Hospital" at the No. 8 bus stop at Kofu station south exit and get off at the terminal. Time required: About 30 min.

Train

On foot

Time required: 17 min. the quickest is changing to JR Minobu line at Kofu station and getting off at "Joei" station.

 Walk from Joei station towards the south-east for 15 min.

Chuo Expressway: Take Chuo Expressway from Takaido I.C to Kofu Showa I.C (time required: about 1 hour 20 min. Distance: 113.2 km) and take the general road to the east-north. Take Route 20 or Alps Dori for 20 min.

Between Tokyo and Medical　Campus

Chuo Expressway: Take Chuo Expressway from Takaido I.C to Kofu Showa I.C (time required: about 1 hour 20 min. Distance: 113.2 km) and take the general road going south. Take Route 20 or Syowa Bypass for 15 min.

Between Nagoya and Kofu campus

Tomei Expressway: Take Tomei Expressway from Nagoya I.C to Komaki I.C and to Kofu Showa I.C of Chuo Express way (time required: about 3 hours. Distance: 245.4 km) and take the general road to the north-east. Take Route 20 or Alps Dori for 20 min.

Tomei Expressway: Take Tomei Expressway from Nagoya I.C to Komaki I.C and to Kofu Showa I.C of Chuo Expressway (time required: about 3 hours. Distance: 245.4 km) and take the general road going south. Take Route 20 or Showa Bypass for about 15 min.
