Manufacturing Aimed at Being Stronger, Faster and More Comfortable!

We are trying to foster engineers who consider the relationship of humans, machineries and information, have the design capabilities of organically linking these, and have the shop-floor production capability which contributes to the flourishing of nature and society, and the happiness and welfare of humans.
n order to foster human resources with the capabilities adhering to our educational policies, the students select either the "Mechanical Design Course" or the "Mechanical Information Course", when they enter our university and thereby receive an education according to each course's learning and educational goals as described below. The mechanical systems include many fields. The "Mechanical Design Course" mainly provides "material and structure", "movement and vibration", "energy and flow" and "design and production and management". The "Mechanical Information Course" mainly provides "material and structure", "movement and vibration", "information, and measurement and control", "design and production and management" and "machinery and systems".

Mechanical Systems Engineering

Mechanical Design Course

This course provides "design and shop-floor production to satisfy the requirements of society from the view point of mechanical engineering". In addition to basic knowledge of mechanical systems, "material and structure", "movement and vibration", "energy and flow" and "design and production", we provide an education which focuses on engineer ethics, and communication skills. We aim at fostering engineers who have the broad view that technology and nature can coexist and are active in society.

※This course is certified with the JABEE. The alumni are automatically JABEE educational program graduates.

Mechanical Information Course

We try to foster the capability of obtaining basic and special knowledge on mechanical engineering and of utilizing that knowledge for shop-floor production. We provide educational programs focusing on "materials and machinery mechanics" which is the basis of mechanical design and "design and production" which is the main subject of mechanical design and manufacturing as well as "information flow and control" which are necessary for mechanical design and optimal operation. We foster engineers who consider the relationship of humans, machineries and information and have the capability of "shop-floor production".

※This course corresponds to the educational program of the JABEE. We have been trying to obtain the certification.
