New electronic materials, elements and communication technology which will change the future!

"Electrical and Electronic Engineering" is deeply concerned with development of various fields, such as familiar IT equipment including mobile phones and personal computers; nanomaterials and nanodevices which are used in large capacity memory technology; semiconductor devices which control large electric power; advanced mechatronics systems, which include robots and autonomous cars; and worldwide communication systems such as the Internet. The mission of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, which supports our society and life, is to further develop such equipment and technology harmonizing with the earth environment.
Our concept is training of the engineer who has extensive capability which can be conscious of harmony with earth environment or society, and contributed for the continuous development of electrical and electronic engineering. To realize the above plan, this specialty has two large lectures of "Information Electronics" and "Information Communication Systems", and promotes advanced education and research.
We were accredited with the JABEE (Japan Accreditation Board for Engineering Education) for the field of "electronics, electronic and information communication" in 2006.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Information Electronics Course

This course provides education and studies on the development and application of new electronics devices including semiconductors, superconductors and optical electronic elements, which support an advanced information society. On the basis of electromagnetism, quantum mechanics and electrical and electronic circuits, students learn electronic properties, semiconductor devices and measurement control. We focus on experiments and practical works.

nformation Communication System Course

This course provides education and studies the basic principles and technology of analyzing, processing, transferring and controlling the signals while observing the various electrical phenomena as a signal. The students learn electrical and electronic technology from the both sides hardware and software. In diploma project, it can be involved with research and application of mobile robots, optical transmissions, optical control, signal processing, and signal transmissions.
