This program will develop technical experts and researchers with visions of river basin management beyond the frameworks of national and local governments, and also are able to come up with solutions for domestic and international water problems from local and global points of view. Specifically, we will develop students that could utilize the following for river basin management: (1) have highly specialized knowledge and technology on water resource, disaster prevention, and environmental management; (2) have ability to solve problems based on social cooperation.
