This major is comprised of two courses; bio-functional engineering course and enology synthetic science course which cultivate students with advanced knowledge and latest technique related to biological function, food, and wine.

This program consists of energy systems, creation of shape and properties, integrated systems and Kansei information engineering, conducting broad education research regarding effective utilization of energy, new materials, nanotechnology, mechanical engineering informatics and welfare equipments based on mechanical engineering and precision engineering.
